Abstrakt: The article presents a case study of a 66-year-old man who was referred by his general practitioner following an event in October 2009 when he was unable to operate the controls while driving his car. The prodromal symptoms suggested a disturbance of sustained attention and the CT scan raises the possibility of a primary brain tumor. This is a case of congophilic amyloid angiopathy (CAA) presenting as a subacute syndrome. Corticosteroids are to be considered in such cases.
