| Abstrakt: | An encyclopedia entry is presented for Chauncey D. Palmer, physician and surgeon, of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on September 18, 1839 in Zanesville in the said state and received his medical degree from Medical College of Ohio in 1862. He is in private practice specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. He is credited with designing several obstetrical and gynecological instruments, such as obstetrical forceps, uterine curettes and uterine dilators. |
