Abstrakt: The article presents analysis of the popular reception, distribution and use of music written by the Renaissance Franco-Flemish composer Heinrich Isaac. Details are given describing how Isaac's music was particularly received in England during the early Tudor period, reviewing multiple manuscript anthologies featuring his works. Notes are also given comparing Isaac's compositional style with that of his contemporaries.
