The article presents information on proceedings of one of the sessions of the 2003 International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) U.S. Shopping Center Law Conference that was held in Palm Desert, California, during October 22-25, 2003. Theme of the session was economics of legal issues in the retail lease. Topics discussed at the session included co-tenancy clauses, renovation clauses and tenant desire for more flexibility in volatile business climate. |
