| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the discovery of artifacts by Terry Herbert just north of Birmingham in England, in March 2009. After reporting the find to Birmingham Museum, Herbert also contacted Roger Bland, head of the Department of Portable Antiquities and Treasure at the British Museum. Kevin Leahy, an authority on Anglo-Saxon metal work assessed the hoard, comprised of military with a few Christian objects. The Portable Antiquities Scheme was set up after the Treasure Act of 1996. |
