Abstrakt: The article presents a case study of mycotic enteritis in rabbit. A few dead baby rabbits with diarrhea were presented for post mortem which revealed that the young animals were maintained mainly on fruits and cereals, and detailed necropsy indicated a dilated and distended intestine with severe mucosal congestion and signs of dehydration. The case highlighted the role of Cymclomyces guttulatus in the development of enteropathy with unscientific diet of sugars and carbohydrates.
