The article discusses the report on the post exposure anti rabies therapy for domestic animals which was conducted by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Kerala Agricultural University in India. It details the classifications of exposure and their recommended treatments including first aid, active and passive administration of vaccine and rabies immunoglobulin. It says that experimental rabies infections were treated using tissue culture anti rabies vaccine and interferon inducers. |
