The article offers the author's insight on the lessons he had learned as a doctor of palliative care. The author states that his encounter with his patients teaches him constantly on the lessons in life. He mentions his trip at the Pain and Palliative Care Service of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts, wherein he had observed how patients interact with the feelings of others. He adds that the patient's emotions and sufferings are easily revealed through looking at their eyes. |
