An essay is presented on the female representation in science fiction (SF) cinema. According to the author, female role in SF cinema has developed considerably since the 1950s, but there has seen a fall in the number of major roles for women. It also offers several actresses such as Kathleen Hughes and Yvette Mimieux who has played major roles in SF cinema. |
