The article offers information on scientific discovery and natural calamities. It relates the discovery of a fossilized finger in the Denisova cave, located in Russia, which belonged to a young girl from unknown archaic human. It also mentions the earthquake felt in Yorkshire Dales, England wherein doctor Aoife O'Mongain states that Ripon, England was the epicenter of the quake. Moreover, a flood devastated the Queensland which trapped and stranded highway motorists and town residents. |
