| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the effluent guidelines established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the textile industry. A comparison between the proposed and the final guidelines is presented, noting the two subcategories created to distinguish fiber differences. Information on the revised and expanded control parameters is given. The effluent limitation values organized for all subparts and categories are examined, with emphasis on the establishment of the National Pollution Elimination System (NPDES). |
