The future of Nigeria as an entity is in the balance if the agitation for separate nation states indicated by the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MOSSOP) and Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) is anything to go by. This article proposes as a solution to the intractable crises of Nigeria in general, and the Delta in particular, the hypothesis that the education of the whole person-involving their intellect, will, and morals-would equal development, stability, and security because most of the crimes committed against the Nigerian state are by 'uneducated intellectual giants.'
