This article provides an outlook for political and economic conditions in Slovenia from 2011 to 2015. The Economist Intelligence Unit Ltd. predicts that the center-right parties will win a majority of the votes in the 2012 election. The firm expects conflicting relations between Slovenia and Croatia due to their border dispute. It also believes that the government will focus on supporting the economic recovery and reducing the budget deficit. In addition, the firm forecasts growth in the country's real gross domestic product (GDP) in 2011. |
