Abstrakt: The article reports on the validation of an indirect vasculature imaging method that quantifies the measurement of biomarkers which include blood volume, vessel density and size index. It compares the results to histologic vessel and ex vivo micro-computed tomography angiography measurements. It examines the sensitivity of the vascular parameters in magnetic resonance imaging and the detection of the effects of antiangiogenic therapies on blood volume.
