The article reports on appearance among mayoral candidates of Chicago, Illinois at a forum to discuss their stand on the relevant issues surrounding the minorities and women in Illinois. State Senator James Meeks suggested that only African Americans should be legible for city contracts reserved for the minorities and women. He added that all minority and women-owned businesses deserves the fair share of the city's contract opportunities despite the systemic corruption in its business programs. |
