The article focuses on a study that examines the Ruskin Dam spillway shotcrete in Vancouver, British Columbia. The dam is a concrete gravity structure comprised of eight monoliths placed in a narrow valley and founded predominantly on bedrock. Visual inspection of the dam revealed several deficiencies including cracking, erosions, and construction joint delamination. |
