Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the role of ras-related protein 1-GTPase-activating (Rap1-GTP) in glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF)-induced Ret Signaling. It analyzes the engagement of endogenous Rap1GAP with Ret in midbrain and spinal cord in vivo. It investigates how Rap1GAP activity is modulated by Ret signalling. It shows that activation of Ret through GDNF could have a potential therapeutic value for treatment of Parkinson's disease. |
