| Abstrakt: | The author reflects on the inadequacy of Sweden's Nationalmuseum to conduct its activities and exhibit all of its collections because of lack of space. He points out the need for space must be solved by expanding into the premises outside its walls. He further comments that the design for the expansion should be based on the activities of the museum and not the other way around. He also gives a brief history of how the museum has been transformed since its founding in 1866. |
