In this article the author discusses aspects on the provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) in the U.S. He reflects on how far transplantation have gone ahead to the rest of American medicine and how the new law protects the patient in relation to the costs. Also speculated is the debate on mandates and other provisions which centered on the fundamental inadequacy of U.S. health insurance in insuring coverage. |
