Abstrakt: |
This article presents a global economic outlook for 2011. It expects the U.S. to outperform the consensus real gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast of 2.6% or 2.8%. It cites rising inflation as a key risk to the performance of emerging markets (EM). Also expected is continued upward trends for equity markets as a result of abundant liquidity and a strengthening global economic recovery. Recommended currencies for 2011 are the Polish zloty, Taiwanese dollar, Singapore dollar and Mexican peso. |
