Abstrakt: The article reports on the latest developments within the labor unions, American Federation of Labor (AFL) and the Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO), as of February 1945. It reports on the victory garnered by the AFL in the six of seven divisions of the Western Union. The CIO only captured the metropolitan New York district. The recommendation of National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) member Gerard D. Reilly that was voted down by chairperson Harry Millis and John M. Houston is also presented.
