Abstrakt: One of the oldest educational institutions providing education in economics for young people is the Kursk College [kolledzh] of Trade and Economics. Since 1992 it has had the status of a higher-level educational institution and is engaged in the training, retraining, and upgrading of qualifications of cadres for trade and public food services. The college was certified in 1997 and given the right to engage in educational activities with these specialties: "economics, accounting, and control," "management," "marketing," "commerce in trade and public food services," and "jurisprudence" (offering specialization in "economic-legal work").
