One of the most pressing tasks of present-day education is to foster the fullest possible realization of the potential of gifted and talented children. Psychological studies have demonstrated the complexity and multilayered character of the phenomenon of giftedness and the way its development depends on the conditions under which gifted children are brought up and taught. Present-day conceptions of giftedness single out various aspects and even types of intelligence, and, accordingly, also differentiate types of giftedness [8; 9; 13]. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
