Abstrakt: The article presents a reprint of the article "Centralized vs. Decentralized Nursing Stations," by Terri Zborowsky, Lou Bunker-Hellmich, Agneta Morelli, and Mike O'Neill, which appeared in the Summer 2010 issue of "HERD Journal." It says that the improvement of the work environment of staff is important in delivering quality healthcare services in the U.S. An improvement of the work environment has been anticipated to increase job satisfaction and decrease burnout, improving staff retention.
