The authors discuss how findings of research studies are utilized in a classroom setting. They shared the experience of a special education teacher who enrolled in a professional development class. They explain that just like in other professions, learning among educators happens primarily through third party processes, or commonly dubbed as "meditation." Among the sources of research knowledge mentioned by the authors are professional organizations and publications. |
