The article discusses research by French scientists at Ifremer Materials and Structures Group and engineers from French marine composite products manufacturer HDS who are developing tests to simulate critical loading conditions from repeated wave impact on racing yachts. An overview of the measurement of various parameters, such as central panel displacement, and the use of numerical modeling simulation is presented. |
