The article discusses the study which describes the success of integration and blending of novel synthetic turf infill materials with recycled materials from carpet waste. It states that the soft composites are ubiquitous in modern society and are perceived to have different usage like the synthetic athletic turfs originally designed to provide safe and durable outdoor playing fields. It adds that a combination of synthetic turf and automotive rubber can make a safer and cleaner product for indoor sports such as synthetic athletic fields. |
