Abstrakt: The author reflects on the current state of end-of-life care in Great Britain as of September 2010. He cites the report from the National End of Life Care Intelligence Network (NEoLCIN), which presents the variations in place of death in England. The report showed that majority of deaths occurred at hospitals as only 19% died in their own homes. He claims that the report should serve as a guide to determine the quality of health and social care services in the country.
