| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses a study on the influence homocysteine concentration in the prevalence of coronary heart disease. The study examined the relationship between the disease and the concentration of homocysteine in the Caerphilly cohort. The study used a case-control method to determine such relation in men with heart disease. A randomised controlled trial has been conducted to generalize the results and to determine whether homocysteine can be considered as a risk factor of the disease. |
