| Abstrakt: |
The article reports on the reinforcement of steel girders in reconstructing industrial buildings in new Russia. It highlights the needs to develop rational welding, assembling technologies, and scientifically justified standards to identify the safety of procedures in the application. It also discusses several tests done with the major factors affecting the stability of the steel bars such as welding deflection and thermal weakening of the cross-section. |
