Deals with the intraperitoneal abscesses in patients with inflamed appendicitis randomized to laparoscopy. Reason for the laparoscopy in patients with appendicitis; Increase in the incidence of intraperitoneal abscess in the laparoscopic group of patients with gangrenous or perforated appendicitis; Advantage of thorough suction and mopping of the intraperitonial cavity. |
