The article presents summaries of medical studies published as of October 10, 2010. A study published in the "British Journal of Psychiatry," demonstrated that adults with a parental history of depression and anxiety have an increased levels of cortisol on awakening than those without such a parental history. The association between childhood socioeconomic status and late-onset of type 2 diabetes and obesity was reported in "BMC Public Health." The practice of sharing medical records with patients was reportedly evident in Bangladesh. |
