The article offers information on the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), a political tool that aims to help Europe and Asia improve their immediate interests and their ability to communicate and cooperate with the support of their people. It traces the origin of ASEF and discusses its role in strengthening the relationship between the regions. It notes that the inclusion of Australia, New Zealand and Russia in the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) and ASEF can broaden the perspectives of the latter. |
