The article reports on the measures adopted by Colorado Women's College in Denver, Colorado following a drop in enrollment and the school's debt of 5.6 million dollars. President Sherry Manning, has announced that because of financial exigency, 25 out of 35 full-time faculty were to be fired. Treat Hall, the administration building, would be closed to cut heating bills. The faculty members of the college have considered a lawsuit charging breach of contract. |
