The article offers news briefs related to health in the U.S. A survey is conducted by interviewers from the U.S. Census Bureau in each state concerning accidents and injuries, hospitalization, medical and dental care from 3,000 households across the country. Dr. Fred T. Darvill Jr. and John L. Bakke have used a whole battery of drugs in treating patients with hypertension. Postmaster General Arthur Summerfield reported that the use of mails to promote medical quackery is at its highest level. |
