The article provides information on customizing the 1963 Ford Falcon of Tim Strange. It was during the 2008 Detroit Autorama when Ryan Thomas made a deal to finish the Falcon and bring it back to the 2009 show. Innovations made include fabricating the suspension, building the new floor using a monocoque tub, and forming the steel interior. A ProCharged and intercooled 2002 Ford Racing SVT Cobra engine was used for power. The Falcon debuted at the 2009 Detroit Autorama, where it was able to grab second place in Pro Touring. |
