Bill Veeck, franchise owner and promoter in Major League Baseball, predicts that women will be playing on major league baseball teams. According to John Schapiro, president of Laurel Race Course, majority of jockeys may be women. Fred Crawford, a sociologist from Atlanta, Georgia, also expects that gambling or betting on live games will be featured on television. |
