The article reports on the ruling by Judge Richard Fitzgerald of the Cook County Criminal Court in Chicago, Illinois to sentence horse trainer and dealer Silas Jayne to 6-20 years in prison for conspiring to murder his brother George Jayne, a licensed judge of the American Horse Shows Association. The accomplices of Silas Jayne who were also found by the court as guilty are Joe LaPlaca and Julius Barnes. According to Silas' lawyer, F. Lee Bailey, they will file an appeal for the decision. |
