A third Rice Bowl was grabbed by Tennessee State over McNeese State 26-23 after a three second-half touchdown pass was let out by Joe Gilliam. University of Maryland has hired Jerry Claiborne, who had a 61-39-2 record with Virginia Tech, as it head football coach. |
