Abstrakt: |
The article looks at the popularity of private planes in the U.S. in 1970. The presence of various private planes is credited for the growth of pleasure flying. Also noted is the significant impact of flying on the lifestyle of individuals in the West including businessman Gerald Joseph of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The requirements for prospective pilots are cited, one of which is the need to log at least 35 hours of flight to qualify for a private license. |
