Abstrakt: The concept of giftedness has been expanded to include not only those individuals with a high intelligence quotient but also those who score high on measures of creativity (Torrance, 1962; Getzels and Jackson, 1962). Gowan (1971) has recently underscored the relationship between creativity and giftedness. Our knowledge however, concerning the differences in creativity among individuals gifted in various academic and artistic areas is limited. It is the purpose of this study to determine if adolescents gifted in the areas of mathematics, science, English, foreign language, social science, drama, music, and art do differ in their creative personalities.
