Abstrakt: The author classifies modern criminological theories into three general categories—biological, psychological, and sociological— and views briefly the literature supporting and refuting them. He concludes that at this point none of the theories can be rejected as completely invalid but that none measures up sufficiently to be accepted wholly to the exclusion of any other.
