Abstrakt: The article discusses geographic profiling in predicting a criminal's spatial patterns. It notes that a problem in crime prediction is in modeling the behavior of a serial killer. It also notes that several violent criminals tend to commit crimes in a radial band around a central point including home, workplace and other areas of significance to the criminal's activities.
