The article profiles the hockey player Bernard Marcel Parent, who is also known as Bernie Parent, of Philadelphia Flyers in Pennsylvania. It depicts the way he plays hockey, including his strategies and the violence in his moves as well as the risks of goalie in hockey. It mentions the National Hockey League wherein the Flyers team own the first place and Parent was named playoff Most Valuable Player. It also features other team members, which include Flyer Captain Bobby Clarke and Flyer Enforcer Dave Schultz, as well as National Hockey League President Clarence Campbell, who suspended Schultz for a game because of his violent behavior. It notes the only major damage Parent has suffered despite of his confidence, success and luck in hockey playing. |
