Abstrakt: The article discusses the mechanism of gut microbiota, an assortment of microorganism in the mammalian gastrointestinal tract. It explores the implication of the microbiota in health and disease in mice and states that it impacts numerous aspects of normal host physiology which are beneficial or detrimental. It says that the mechanics of the said impacts remains undetermined; however, further research on its role in health and disease will be helpful to customize existing and future therapeutic.
