Abstrakt: The article examines the characteristics of ethylene polymerization catalyzed by a nickel catalyst and activated by ethylaluminum sesquichloride (EASC). Results showed that temperature and EASC concentration are the most significant factors in terms of their effects on the final polymers' molecular weight and catalyst activity. Investigation of polymer branching frequencies exhibited new short branching types and significant amounts of long branches.
