The article discusses the highlights of the 17th Biennale of Sydney entitled "The Beauty of Distance: Songs of Survival in a Precarious Age," which is held at various locations including the Sydney Opera House in New South Wales from May 12 to August 1, 2010. It says that the biennale brought into public view tricky contemporary predicaments. According to the author, part of artistic director David Elliott's job is to become exploratory. The event featured artist Peter Hennessey's wooden reproduction of the Hubble Space Telescope. |
