Abstrakt: The article discusses the implementation of the Class-Level Survey of Student engagement (CLASSE) in the U.S. It mentions that when a student participates in educationally purposeful activities both in and out of the classroom, is said to be a sign personal development and learning. It notes that CLASSE was developed as an answer to the lack of specifity in individual classes. CLASSE is a two-component device wherein faculty's expectations are being compared to students' performances.
