Abstrakt: The article presents a study which examines the ancient Greek history curriculum and corresponding textbook. It observes and assess the relation of empathy in history classes in order to find to what extent the ancient Greek history curriculum involves students in the enpathetic understanding of historical contents. The result shows that the Greek history curriculum does not identify empathy as it dependent on the imagination and intuition of the student to understand historical contexts.
