The article discusses a study on the Cornish spoken language and vocal music. According to Brian Murdoch, the Cornish literature and vocal music that were written from 1575 to 1800 were greatly influenced by the English language. It presents six verse texts that were written by medieval Cornish writers, including the "Charter Endorsement," "Pascon Agan Arluth" "The Passion of Our Lord," and "Bewnans Ke" (The Life of Saint Ke). |
